What is Zombies Run: The Musical?
ZRTM is a fan-made concept album for a musical dramatizing the first three seasons of the popular fitness app Zombies, Run! The album will be releasing in two acts.
Who’s making it?
A lot of dorky, devoted fans who share a love for both Zombies, Run! and musical theater.
Is it canon-compliant?
Yes…and no. The musical is an adaptation of Zombies, Run!, meaning that we’ve taken a lot of liberties in order to squeeze three seasons of plot into two acts. The beautiful thing about musical theater is that you get a peek into what characters are thinking and feeling (much like fanfiction), so the musical contains a lot of invented moments that exist to make the adaptation flow more smoothly, to simplify certain plot points, or just because they’re fun.
